Knife Crime Awareness Week
Thank you Selly Oak Police for a successful Knife Crime Awareness Week.
During the week PC Karina Jordan and PC Darren Neville, from Selly Oak Police, led assemblies for each of our year groups and held workshops with smaller groups of our year 10 and 11 students to discuss the important issue of Knife Crime.
Students also reflected on the seriousness of the issue and ways to tackle it through a Knife Crime Awareness poster competition. On Friday Inspector Lee Trinder and Al Carns MP joined us to select the winner. They were so pleased with the winning artworks that they have each decided to have one framed and hung in their respective offices.
Well done to winners Ruqaiya Bashir and Oluwajomiloju Wisdom Oluwatobi on demonstrating excellent Kings Heath Values!
